What Is Summer Industry Week?
Summer Industry Week is a five-day, hands-on fashion-industry educational experience presented by The Runway Hub in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Designed for aspiring models and individuals interested in exploring the fashion industry, this immersive experience goes beyond the runway to introduce participants to the essential skills, knowledge, and professional practices of the modeling and fashion world.
Throughout the week, participants will explore five key areas: fashion and industry fundamentals, runway training, professional photography and comp cards, beauty and self-care, and casting preparation.
Through interactive workshops, practical activities, and guidance from fashion-industry professionals, participants will have opportunities to build confidence, discover their potential, develop new skills, and gain a better understanding of how the industry works.

Runway Training
Learn the fundamentals of runway walking, posture, movement, turns, confidence, and professional runway presentation through hands-on instruction.
Wednesday
Photography & Comp Cards
Step in front of the camera! Learn photography fundamentals, posing techniques, and how professional modeling photographs are used while participating in a comp-card photography experience.
Thursday
Beauty, Hair & Self-Care
Explore beauty, grooming, hair care, personal presentation, and self-care through educational activities and hands-on experiences with beauty professionals.
Friday
Mock Casting & Completion Ceremony
Put your new skills into action during a simulated fashion-industry casting experience. Celebrate your accomplishments as Summer Industry Week concludes with a special completion ceremony.
